Meeting a Different Self

We make our way through the world wearing a thousand different faces: as sons, daughters, husbands, wives, fathers, mothers... as villains, good people, ordinary folk, and as "myself." Which one... is the real "me"? Or... is each one actually a different "me"? Since they are all "me," why is that? Why are there so many different "me"s? Why did "I" come into this world? Where did "I" come from, exactly? And where will I go in the end? ...Could the very fact that "we" ask these questions be the answer to why we exist in this world? "Why?" Aunt Lan, dusting off a book, asked in reply almost unconsciously. "Isn't it because you have too much free time, Madam? We ordinary people are already exhausted just thinking about how to survive. Where would we find the time to think about all that?" Is... that so? So it was because "I" had too much free time. In that case, I really should find something worthwhile to do... Theme: Enjoy life, then do whatever you can.
