Synopsis

Romance:
After a case was solved, Song Shuiyi draped an arm around Yin Chen's neck and said fiercely, "If you ever fall for someone else, I'll kill you. Then I'll die for love."
Yin Chen didn't understand a single word she said. "What does 'die for love' mean?"
Song Shuiyi said, "It means I'll kill you, then follow you into death..."
Yin Chen relaxed, certain of himself. "Then we definitely won't die."
Song Shuiyi: "..." Did you actually understand what I said?

Plot:
The Lingshu Pavilion established three divisions: the Punishment Bureau, the Court of Judgment, and the Censorate. Together, they oversee criminal justice and legal cases throughout the world.
The old Pavilion Master apparently didn't think that gave him enough to play with, so he established an inner court as well, overseeing four vital departments:
The Pharmacy Bureau, the Inspectorate, the Divine Mechanism Bureau, and the Divine Strategy Bureau.
The three divisions and four bureaus are at daggers drawn and cannot coexist.
Song, a dignified head of the Inspectorate, carelessly got herself into trouble. The Censorate impeached her three hundred times, yet she never learned her lesson and kept doing it again.
Yin Chen of the Divine Strategy Bureau: "How about... I go with you?"
My teacher taught me the arts of ritual, music, archery, charioteering, calligraphy, and mathematics, along with the manners of sweeping, responding, advancing, and retreating. Who knew that one day he would be murdered for reasons unknown?
Song Shuiyi searched for the real culprit and traveled to a town thousands of years old, hoping to find a clue. But she managed to get herself into trouble again and landed straight in prison.
