Zhi You Finds the Light

Shen Zhiyou has spent years working at the intersection of neurosurgery and photomedicine. After two years of refining a targeted light-pulse therapy, she hopes to open a new path for patients with high-risk brain diseases. Then an anonymous complaint arrives without warning, alleging that the prototype has a safety hazard caused by thermal deformation. The project is abruptly suspended, and her chance to present at the summit hangs by a thread.

The technical consultant sent to help in this crisis turns out to be Fu Jingheng, who disappeared three years ago. They were once fellow students who worked side by side developing a research topic. Back then, he left without a word for a classified research assignment, leaving behind a long silence. Reunited now, they are forced to work together to tackle the thermal compensation algorithm.

Shen Zhiyou treats patients while checking the evidence, making a last stand in the face of doubt from the academic community. Fu Jingheng devotes himself to the laboratory, using his expertise in optics to overcome the equipment's limitations. They become each other's support.

Through countless nights with the lights burning late, they safeguard the principles of research and the compassion of physicians together, while slowly untangling the unresolved feelings left by their abrupt separation.
