What he didn't know was that Wen Mo had been falling for him and secretly loving him day after day ever since the first day. His care and concern had never been just that of a partner.

Halfway into living together, Xu Che noticed that Wen Mo always seemed to ignore anything to do with his pheromones or heat. Could it be that he was impotent?

The accident:

Wen Mo's rut unexpectedly came early. He made an excuse to go out, his emotions suppressed and tense.

His pheromones went out of control and leaked on the way. A passerby reported him, and the police came to his home.

When the police asked about his partner, Wen Mo hesitated, unable to bring himself to admit it.

Forced to call his emergency contact, he was found out by the police when they saw the pinned contact note, "My sweet little Cheche." The other person called the number for him.

Xu Che hurried over and saw for the first time Wen Mo's secret little rental apartment: clothes neatly arranged throughout, along with various everyday necessities, all prepared so he could get through his rut alone.

Xu Che understood all the restraint Wen Mo had been showing. He released his pheromones to soothe him, and Wen Mo completely lost control. His months of suppressed love and possessiveness burst out all at once.

After one night...

Xu Che woke up in tears, feeling wronged and accusing the other man of being too rough the night before.

You wouldn't kiss me, and you wouldn't hold me.

Wen Mo panicked, his hands trembling as he tried to comfort him. Overcome with guilt, he confessed that he'd deliberately kept his distance all along because he was afraid of hurting Xu Che.

Xu Che angrily pulled out his phone and ordered him to change the contact name. Wen Mo shamelessly refused, holding him and softly coaxing him: "My sweet little Cheche, don't be mad."

That evening, they finally laid everything out in the open. Wen Mo confessed all the restraint, secret love, and fear he'd kept inside. He earnestly confessed that he'd fallen for Xu Che at first sight, but hadn't dared to get close the whole time.

Xu Che was moved to tears, heartbroken that Wen Mo had borne everything alone. He firmly insisted: "Don't you dare avoid me again. Move in with me for good."

Wen Mo agreed and finally let down his guard.

He moved all his belongings out of the rental apartment and officially settled in at Xu Che's place.

Dudu stayed by their side throughout, and their new life began.

Now that they were finally together, they no longer wanted to act out a fake script. They switched to becoming a travel-blogger duo, visiting the snowy mountains and grasslands they'd always wanted to see and living freely.
