Synopsis
Everyone thought they were two parallel lines that would never meet. No one knew that, in a corner where no one was watching, a breathtaking secret romance had already begun.
When displacement meets acceleration, the sparks are not just from a physics competition. There's also secret flirting from the back row of the classroom, and tutoring sessions on the library rooftop...
They use physics formulas to write a romance that belongs to two Alphas alone:
"Between us, there's competition, there's attraction. It's conquest, but it's also salvation."
"I want to get good grades so that after summer vacation, we can still see each other, still be classmates, and still have our secret romance."
"I know how to make physics romantic. Want to see?"
[Content Warnings]
* My writing isn't great, and the story may be a little messy. I'll work hard to revise it as I go. If you notice a plot that resembles another work, please let me know so I can make changes. Thank you!
* I'm not very good at writing characters before they fall in love, so they usually start out with feelings for each other already.
* I'm not good at physics either. I wrote this based on how it felt, on a sudden whim. I looked up most of the physics or asked people about it, then reworked some definitions into love lines based on my own understanding. Some information may be wrong. Sorry, and thanks for understanding.
1. Dual Alpha setting
· Both male leads are Alphas. Neither will differentiate as an Omega.
· No traditional Alpha-Omega pheromone marking. Their physiology does not allow permanent marking.
· Higher-level pheromone suppression takes the place of marking. There are scenes involving biting glands, but they are not marking scenes.
2. Clearly defined roles
· Zhou Weiyi (top) × Jiang Chilin (bottom)
· Height difference: 187 cm × 180 cm. The top is half a head taller than the bottom.
· Personality contrast: calm and restrained × fiery and lively, but they "tame" each other.
3. Romance
· One-on-one, first love for both, from school uniforms to wedding attire.
· Romance is the main focus, with career matters secondary.
· They dote on each other, with the top doting more on the bottom (a man of action × a softie who acts tough).
4. Intimacy warning
· Intimate scenes are present but not detailed, written with restraint.
· Includes exploring during adolescence, sharing a bed, kissing, and flirtatious interactions.
5. Pacing
· Sweetness: flirtatious tension early on; sweetness with a hint of bitterness in the middle, mainly due to family conflicts; a happy ending.
· Some family conflict, including divorced parents, alcoholism, and controlling behavior, but the conflicts are resolved by the end.
6. Supporting cast
· Childhood friend Cheng Ye, whose one-sided crush turns into brotherly friendship; younger aunt Jiang Chuyue, a fantastic matchmaker; and a group of classmates with their own friendships.
· Everyone is a good person.
7. Setting highlights
· Physics runs throughout the story: love lines using formulas, competitions, and lab dates.
· A large part of the story takes place at school.
8. Additional warnings
· Family backgrounds: the bottom's parents are at odds, while the top's parents have been abroad for years. The bottom's family is the one with more problems.
· Includes a few scenes of drunkenness and family arguments.
· Early on, family issues leave the bottom feeling like life is hopeless, leading him to "hand in a blank exam" and "rank near the bottom." He is not actually a bad student.
10. Overall tone
· More lighthearted and healing than angsty, with a focus on youthful campus life.
· Physics romance: using the most rational formulas to say the most irrational things.
Theme: Life will never let down those who keep trying to live
