[Three Kingdoms] Jia Xu: A Romance for Her - Bluebird

In the past, Jia Xu kept his head down and protected himself for his own sake. He still does so now, but his reasons are no longer quite the same.

After finding her, he now has someone to protect himself for: “Even if it's for her sake, I absolutely have to keep myself safe.”

This is a self-indulgent work, written simply because I wanted to write it. It might be full of outrageous plot twists, so beware of getting thoroughly scorched! Ahhh

Jia Xu's personality is loosely based on historical accounts, though I've added some of my own interpretations.

I've read Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Records of the Three Kingdoms, and I know some objects, words, and forms of address wouldn't have existed in the late Eastern Han. But I haven't been too strict about it, since this is only a short story.

I'm trying to get back into writing (will I ever recover? Knock, knock!)... Please forgive my clumsy prose.

Finally, I hope Jia Xu won't bring me bad luck. (Palms together.)

Theme: Live well.
