Crowning the Endless is an action-packed ensemble comic. At the height of its popularity, the author suddenly killed off the protagonist and announced an indefinite hiatus.
As a die-hard fan, Mo Mo was devastated and immediately wrote a ten-thousand-word negative review.
Her understanding of the plot and characters was so precise that the review became hugely popular. Readers praised it, and even the trolls nodded in agreement. For a moment, Mo Mo's fanfiction looked like it might be mistaken for the official story.
The author saw it and flew into a rage.
Mo Mo woke up to find that she had transmigrated into Crowning the Endless.
Mo Mo: “?”
You've got to be kidding. This is a comic where 50% of the supporting cast die and the protagonist has a 100% death rate!
The smug author crowed, “I know you're the character shipper who trashed me. If you want to stay alive, help me finish the plot and turn my reputation around!”
“Now I grant you magic...”
Mo Mo: “Wait, you said ship magic, right?”
A new legend began to circulate.
The underground city's newest crime star had the “Executioner” backing her and was an old acquaintance of the leader of the resistance. The number-one assassin called her mentor, and even the humanoid weapons trained by the Third Research Institute had to bow before her.
Everyone was stunned!
What kind of power did she have to earn the respect of so many big shots?
People tried to investigate, but all the big shots kept quiet in unison.
Tentacles, memory alteration, sensory deprivation... Remembering those things made the big shots shudder.
What kind of shameless pervert could awaken abilities that made people wish they were dead, yet unable to die?!
They absolutely couldn't let anyone know they'd been shipped!
Mo Mo's response: Sorry, it was just a little something I did on the side. You enjoyed it, I enjoyed it, and so did the author and readers. Everyone had a lovely time. Wonderful, wonderful.
Besides, what fan wouldn't be tempted by the chance to fill in the original story's plot holes?
Especially in a way like this!
Tips:
1. The protagonist is a menace.
2. This isn't traditional shipping. Anyone could get shipped in this story.
3. There are too many potential content warnings to list, so I won't. If the first chapter doesn't bother you, read on!
