Take Out a Loan to Play Soccer, Become a Soccer Saint!

Ethan awakened to a terrible start from the start!

His adoptive father is a former England star who drinks heavily and has been sent to rehab six times, while Ethan himself suffers from exercise-induced asthma.

Though he managed to get into Tottenham's youth academy, he was bullied, left on the bench and ignored, and barely scraped by.

Ethan only wants to play football and earn enough to support his family, but then the Loan-to-Play Football System hits him out of nowhere.

"Ding!

You have activated the Loan-to-Play Football System."

"Loan-to-play football? What kind of nonsense is that?"

[Would you like to advance 90 minutes of 'high-efficiency play'? It costs two weeks' wages. Accept to receive it. The System will use your wages to help children in war zones.]

[Based on your performance on the pitch, the System will reward you with more than ten times the money for every match. Rewards will be stored in System Space and paid out after the Host retires.]

"I can play football and get a retirement pension? Sign me up!"

Borrow to play football, overcome illness, transfer to a top club, rake in huge transfer fees and wages, borrow to repay loans, and keep borrowing forever!

Years later, Ethan has borrowed his way into becoming a football saint. Now he's living like a penniless miser, spending every bit of his wages repaying his debts. Should he retire and enjoy his pension, or keep playing to leverage even more?
