Revised blurb below:
[Shadows of Yesterday]
The past never really goes away. It always seems to follow people from behind.
You seem to keep looking back. You've forgotten some things, but those things remain shapeless and unseen. You don't care anymore.
As dusk sweeps over the red and blue afterimages, he remembers the door that was never opened.
He climbs in through the window, dust on his knees. You don't ask; you just push a can of cola toward him.
Some shadows never fade. They only take on a different appearance and stand before you again.
[Alone into the Night]
He knows the danger ahead, but he still walks in alone.
On a rainy night in Gotham, you emerge from the darkness clutching evidence. Your ribs have been broken. Your courage burned bright, but was snuffed out. You glance up at the rooftop. You exchange anonymous emails, but never get any closer.
Two night wanderers exchange silence across the distance between them.
There is no estrangement, but neither is there any contact. To you, he is the stranger you know best. Your interactions with him exist only through another identity.
[The Echo Still Rings]
Something has ended, but its effects continue.
Superman flies by and the whole city looks up. He, too, passes gently through your world.
He stands at the edge, calculating the radius of a fall. The cracks beyond the reach of the light continue to grow. Your heart keeps beating, though perhaps it's only a coincidence.
Heroes save the world, and they are also responsible for hearing the echoes the world leaves behind.
Some sounds keep vibrating, even after they have ended.
[Embers of the Past]
A great fire once burned. Now only dark red ashes remain.
The armor falls and starts up again. What you see has never been a hero, but a fire in the ashes that refuses to go out. Stark turns wreckage into armor. You stitch old wounds into your bones and blood. You're a coward.
Two people, different yet alike, walk a few more steps side by side in the darkness. You are no longer just an observer. You reach out and gather the sparks in the ashes back together.
[Worlds Converge]
At last, you remember everything...

(I had nothing to do, and now I want to start another story. I've finished all the good ones. When will there be more stories that suit my taste? I've had an idea for a while, but haven't fully worked it out, and I'm already writing two stories at once, so it'll probably be slow. There probably won't be anything else. If there's something else you'd like to read, tell me in the comments and I might add it.)
Theme: I hope you enjoy reading.
Remember, there will be consequences later🧋
A little foreshadowing, just a hint [glasses]
