A squishy mage whose soul has left their body

An assassin with the sleep schedule of a male ghost

An intel specialist utterly obsessed with close combat

A tactician who wants to win but doesn't care if they live

A main attacker who talks a lot but can't communicate

A chatty healer who's afraid of dying

It's absurd, even downright dangerous.

But they aren't just "Messiahs" with supernatural abilities. They're students on duty passing notes during evening study, guerrilla fighters racing to claim the first basket of buns at the breakfast shop at five in the morning, and ordinary high schoolers who quiz each other at random on "how many meanings does 'contract' have?"

Being eighteen is itself an absurd and grand battle, a goldfish trailing its tail between solving problems and unraveling mysteries.
