[Complete manuscript finished]
After being attacked, Tu Yao's intelligence drops to zero. By a stroke of luck, she stumbles into the dream job she's always wanted:
Teaching at a mountain kindergarten where it's always night and even the moon is blood-red.
It's a secure job, with little to do, and the young male director has a face that makes her heart flutter.
Tu Yao is overjoyed.
On her first day at work, she discovers that the children glow and have no facial features...
Tu Yao thinks they're adorable.
On her fifth day, she discovers a dragon at the kindergarten, and the children ride it to “act up” with some strange illness...
Tu Yao thinks it's thrilling.
On her tenth day, she discovers that the director has been dead for fifteen years...
Tu Yao is starting to fall for him.
A few days later, she realizes that she might not be alive either...
Tu Yao begins to fall deeply in love with this place.
Meanwhile, the Tu Yao in the human world has been missing for days.
The police summon Tu Yao's family to the hospital and tell them that they've found her. She's unconscious in an abandoned, sealed amusement park that has been closed for ten years. She's suffered a brain injury and may never wake up again.
Her family trembles. "Tu Yao was the sweetest, quietest girl. Who could have done this to her?"
"I'm not finished," the police officer says, fixing his gaze on this respectable family.
"Your female neighbor was found dead beside her."
"All the evidence points to Tu Yao as the killer."
"Before the murder, she may also have abducted the neighbor's child."
"And stolen her money."
"What's more, she was connected to the captain of the criminal investigation team who disappeared fifteen years ago..." The officer picks up a photo of a man that Tu Yao secretly kept when she was in elementary school.
"Is this the sweet, quiet girl you were talking about?"
1. [Parallel narratives in two spaces] Both spaces share the same timeline and affect each other, ultimately joining forces to solve the central mystery.
2. [The story is a Rashomon] Everyone's memories and accounts reflect only their own perspective and position. Together, they piece together the truth of the heroine's story. The story is told from multiple points of view, not solely the heroine's.
a. From the romance perspective, the leads are the male and female protagonists.
b. From the mystery and narrative perspective, the protagonists are the heroine and the police. The deductions follow the fair-play mystery tradition.
3. The main plot involves two cases connected to the heroine, spanning the fifteen years of her life that no one knew about. There are two couples, and both romances unfold amid the mystery! The author has gone all in: it's pure love, but the intensity is off the charts!
4. At the beginning of the story, the heroine is a little simple-minded because of her injuries. Her actions and understanding don't make much sense. (That is absolutely not because the author's lost their mind!) She'll gradually get better.
That's all. I hope this will be a moving story.
