The world's first full-dive game has launched! The whole world is celebrating, and countless people are spending a fortune on gaming pods to enter a virtual world and embark on adventures!
But none of that has anything to do with Xia Shiyu.
Not only is this broke girl drowning in debt, she also has to pay her mother's medical bills. The weight of life presses down on her so hard she doesn't even dare ask for time off.
She thought she'd be working herself to death, but unexpectedly, she won a spot in the game!
The game is drawing a huge audience. If she starts livestreaming and catches the wave, she might earn enough to never work again!
She's going for it!
A zombie-infested island. Trapped in a school.
Everyone else fights zombies and dodges the monsters hunting them.
Xia Shiyu holds up a leave slip to the monsters.
She walks straight through the horde as if they aren't there.
Everyone else is hungry and thirsty, scheming and fighting over a sip of water or a piece of bread.
Xia Shiyu tosses out a leave slip.
A zombie eagerly trots over to bring her food and water.
Most of the others are dead or injured, struggling to survive.
Meanwhile, Xia Shiyu has her eye on the prettiest one.
“Wait, are you crazy? That's the Zombie King! Why are you flirting with him?”
“Ahem, I can explain.”
