During the great battle beneath the sea, the sea god Bai Jianzhi died, and so did his beloved, Zhao Mingsheng.
The tides rose and fell, and their souls entered the cycle of reincarnation.
When they returned to the human world and met again, they had no memories of their past lives.
Zhao Mingsheng became Fang Sui, and Bai Jianzhi became Shen Congjia.
Fate brought them together in a fleeting encounter at a hospital, and Fang Sui fell in love with Shen Congjia at first sight.
Just as he was about to confess his feelings, Shen Congjia rejected him.
Then the events of their past were brought to light once more.
When everything finally settled, they found happiness together in this life at last.
