Lingering Warmth

They spent their youth harboring a mutual secret crush, each believing they were the only one in love.

No melodramatic conflict, no one standing in their way. Just two equally timid hearts that never found the courage to speak.

Graduation parted them, and from then on, they were lost in the vast sea of people.

In the end, neither knew they had once been deeply loved by the other.
