Three hundred years ago, Shen Zhaoyue was the youngest Sword Sovereign in the immortal sects.
Then the Heavenly Abyss split open, and seventeen cities fell.
The history books say she colluded with demons, slaughtered her fellow disciples, and finally died by the sword of her sworn enemy, Xie Linyuan.
Three hundred years later, Shen Zhaoyue wakes up in her own coffin.
Her sect is gone, her old friends have passed away, and her name has become taboo throughout the world.
Only Xie Linyuan is still alive.
The man who "killed" her with his own hands has neither ascended nor taken on disciples in three hundred years, and has never left her tomb.
Shen Zhaoyue decides to uncover the truth of that time, but gradually discovers that...
The history of this world does more than record the past.
When enough people believe a version of history, it can in turn become reality.
Memories change. Ruins change. Even the evidence changes.
And she herself has begun to remember crimes she never committed.
Xie Linyuan is the only person in three hundred years who has not been rewritten by history.
The whole world remembers her wrong.
Only he remembers the real Shen Zhaoyue.
But as the truth gradually comes to light, she discovers that the deception which made her a "sinner for all time" three hundred years ago...
Was something she and Xie Linyuan had devised with their own hands.
Because once certain truths are believed by the world again, the disaster sealed away three hundred years ago will return.
Theme: Even if history is rewritten, hold on to your true self and your choices.
