Food Fantasy BL fanfiction.
Pairing: Three-Cut Bone Fish x Taibai Duck.
Part One:
Gu Yu is searching for the legendary ancient kingdom of Loulan when he accidentally fishes up a swordsman in splendid robes. The man says things Gu Yu doesn't understand and seems unusually familiar with him. Gu Yu thinks, Why turn down free labor when it's practically landed in my lap?
Gu Yu places the reins in Bai Ya's hand and grins. “Close enough. I'll take you along for a bit of fun, too.” His words leave no room for discussion, as if he's certain the man won't refuse.
Bai Ya beams. “That suits me perfectly! It's not every day I get to visit the desert. I want to see for myself the scene described in the poem: ‘A lone plume of smoke rises straight across the vast desert; the long river meets the setting sun, round.’”
Part Two:
Tribute wine from the Western Regions has been stolen, but someone else got there first. Gu Yu sneaks into the palace and runs into a wine-loving sword immortal who arrived just before him. The two hit it off and decide to work together to catch the wine thief. Unfortunately, Gu Yu seems less interested in the wine than in the man...
Though the man's face shows a hint of drunkenness, his eyes are as clear as a spring. He says loudly, “The name Bai Ya should be familiar enough to you, brother.” Gu Yu remains unmoved and replies, “Your name is famous far and wide. It is my great fortune to meet you, Bai Ya.”
Inspired by the original game storyline, “The Dream Thief of Loulan,” and Bai Ya's character profile, which features a story about a dashing swordsman and a master thief. I hope you enjoy it. Let's ship them together!
Fish and Duck are just so delightful together!
Theme: The past cannot be reclaimed, so cherish the person before you.
