The poems collected in this book come from the collection of a Roman noblewoman writing under the name Piparisha. Some are her own compositions, others were given to her by different people. Some are playful verses or casual musings, others are thoughtful reflections. Their styles range from lighthearted and risqué to sorrowful and moving, but every one of them is about love. The editor has gathered these writings, which record Piparisha's many love affairs, and added the stories behind them for readers to enjoy.
Warning: Not suitable for readers of all ages.
There is only one recurring protagonist, Piparisha. The other character changes with every chapter, though someone may appear again later. There are multiple relationships.
There is no continuous storyline. Each chapter is a standalone short story. I'll write them whenever inspiration strikes and post them once they're ready, so the story will keep updating, though I can't say when. Well, given the subject matter, I imagine updates will come pretty quickly.
I drew the cover myself and designed it to look like a videotape cover. But since it has to be in portrait orientation, it needs to be rotated 90 degrees. Sorry to the desktop readers for the sore neck! (Actually, never mind, I'll leave it upright. It looks too weird sideways.)
The Latin on the cover was translated by a computer. I don't know Latin, so I can't tell if it's correct. If any readers who know Latin could let me know, thx.
Welcome to read this, and feel free to check out my other stories too.
Theme: Love is really lovely.
