Entangled to the End

A little teaser: "I told you, don't call me Big Sister." (Wonderful, it's sisters! We're saved.)

(Extra chapters are being written urgently and are still being revised.)

Shen Yu, the sole heir to the Shen Group, has lived a proper life for over twenty years.

She has the ability and the means to manage an enormous business empire, and has never lacked either.

Her attraction to beauty helped her discover other talents of her own.

In the year when she loved most purely, she was willing to swallow even a lie as if it were candy.

Jiang Luo seems to have the story of a chosen underdog heroine: a father who drinks and gambles, a mother bedridden with illness, and a beautiful, resilient daughter.

But this is simply what life is like for ordinary people at the bottom...

One accident brought together two people who otherwise would never have crossed paths in this lifetime.

Looking at the elegant, wealthy Shen Yu, Jiang Luo knew the other's gaze wasn't innocent. She needed to climb out of the mire. She needed to change her life. Wasn't being attractive enough to catch Shen Yu's eye a kind of ability in itself? Wanting to climb higher is human nature. There was nothing wrong with that.

When people see snow, they instinctively reach out. When they see the person they love, they instinctively move toward them.

Snow covered the footprints they'd left behind, layer by layer, and frost had gathered on Shen Yu's eyelashes.

Her eyes were red, dark circles of exhaustion beneath them. She looked at Jiang Luo with hurt in her voice. "Why did you make the first move, only to leave me?"

"We've always belonged to different worlds. We shouldn't keep getting entangled like this."

"Even if it's an entanglement, I'm going to stay entangled with you to the end."

A romance that began with deception unfolded, but the human heart is an unpredictable thing. It never follows the script you wrote for it.
