Wu Nian and Nan Zeyu were childhood friends and got along very well. Wu Nian came from a troubled family, while Nan Zeyu was a rich second-generation kid whose parents doted on him and were open-minded. Later, family problems forced Nan Zeyu to leave Wu Nian. They made a promise: if they could, they would meet again. In high school, Nan Zeyu came to meet Wu Nian as promised, but Wu Nian didn't recognize him. And so Nan Zeyu began observing and helping him from afar, all on his own.
