A person can’t be a teacher, son, younger brother, and husband all at once, unless you accidentally land yourself in a real mess.
Unfortunately, Garcia was exactly that poor fool who dug his own hole.
As the Empire’s marshal, Garcia had just been reborn when he heard his former delinquent student holding his head and saying something outrageous: “This tree is worth fifty thousand star coins. Not a cent less.”
He’d heard of people selling out their teachers for glory, but this was the first time he’d seen someone selling out their teacher for money.
To give the student a taste of his own medicine, Garcia decided to transform right on the spot.
Unfortunately, something went wrong: he got smaller.
And so, on the very first day of his rebirth, he managed to get himself and his delinquent student hauled off to the Interstellar Police Station.
His Highness Alis, accused of being a good-for-nothing, explained: He hadn’t expected the little sprout growing out of his teacher’s corpse to be the teacher himself.
If he’d known, he would’ve plucked it off instead of taking it home and watering it for six whole years. He hadn’t gotten a single fruit out of it, and now he’d been conned.
To make things right, the mutually antagonistic former teacher and student gritted their teeth and embarked on a game of house.
Question: Why are they a family?
Garcia: …Because I can grow big and small.
Alis: Son, younger brother, husband. I’ll take them all, thank you!
Garcia: This family is impossible. Let’s call it quits.
