[Rules-Based Horror] [Dungeon Progression] [Leveling] [Mild Horror] [Tower Defense]
The Gaokao is a single-plank bridge crossed by a thousand armies.
After studying hard and finally getting into a prestigious university, you discover on the first day of freshman orientation that you've become a high school student all over again.
What would you do?
Just as Xu Qiling wheeled her suitcase into the freshman dormitory, a cheerful yet eerie sound rang out from the sky:
"Welcome to the Seventh Haunted High School! There are 444 days left until the despair-filled Gaokao. On behalf of all the monstrous teachers, I welcome all you little darlings. Ehehehehe!"
As the voice faded, a black wall sealed off the balcony, and the luxurious four-person dormitory turned into an unfinished shell.
An unnamed roommate forced a smile more miserable than a sob. "Did we just waste three years studying?"
Xu Qiling's thoughts in turmoil, she reached out and pushed open the dormitory door.
The corridor was filled with people of all ages and in all kinds of clothes, under ghastly white lights.
The System's cold, mechanical voice rang in everyone's ears:
[200,000 players are now in place. Freshman Registration Night begins.]
[The Seventh Haunted High School will officially open in 7 hours. Registered students: 0. Students yet to register: 100,000. Players, hurry to the Academic Affairs Office to register.]
Everything, for the Gaokao.
