Love that grows over time vs love at first sight
The Nightmare System Mi Man is carrying out a mission when he meets Cong Ke, an inspector sent by the General Administration. Because of changes in his own emotions, Cong Ke notices an anomaly in Mi Man's data and stalls the mission's progress.
Mi Man has been planning to transfer to the Sweet Dreams Department ever since joining the company. In his desperation, he breaks the rules and enters Cong Ke's dream to hurry him along.
Everyone thinks Mi Man's top performance is because he loves his work. But Cong Ke discovers that Mi Man is afraid of the dark and ghosts, and scares himself first every time he creates a dream.
And in the dream, Mi Man's stubborn expression as he fights back tears makes Cong Ke's heart stir without his even realizing it.
Cong Ke silently protects him, covering up Mi Man's unauthorized entry into his dream while working overtime to investigate.
During his investigation, Cong Ke uncovers a deeper truth hidden among countless strands of data: some of Mi Man's archived data has been altered, and part of his performance record has been siphoned away.
When Mi Man finds out, his eyes turn red with grievance. "Why are they deducting my performance? I'm scared to death, and I still work so hard. That's just too much."
To get to the truth, Mi Man starts working with Cong Ke on dream-manipulation experiments, only to discover that each new uniform he gets is like opening a mystery box.
He touches the new little deer antlers growing on his head and speaks in a soft, coaxing voice.
"You're unbelievable. Why did you put me in this kind of outfit again?"

1. The top falls in love at first sight. His attentive behavior early on is all a subconscious way of pursuing him.
2. The bottom really is timid and cries easily. He cries many times early on out of grievance and fear, so read with caution if that bothers you.
3. In the top's dreams, he changes the bottom's clothes. Outfits so far include a little Qing Dynasty vampire and a little deer.
4. Both are pure, each other's first love, one-on-one romance, and entirely sweet.
