[Female Imperial Brocade Guard x Scheming Marquis]
Two powerful leads + bickering enemies-to-lovers, 1v1, both pure
(Fictional setting, modeled on the Ming dynasty system. There were no female Imperial Brocade Guards in official history, so this is a special setting.)
Li Huaifeng was an excellent police detective, but during an arrest operation, she unexpectedly transmigrated to the Great Ming.
Other transmigrators came with a System or became royalty and nobility right away. She, on the other hand, was an undocumented nobody who became the first witness at the scene of a family massacre. As a mere expendable bystander, she was inexplicably dragged into the case.
Fortunately, she passed the emperor's interview and became a civil servant in the Great Ming, starting at the bottom.
But the Imperial Brocade Guards do the same work she did in the modern world. Why does she have to solve crimes in ancient times, too?
Here, she even ran into Pei Yunce, Marquis of Wuning, who looked just like her ex-boyfriend. She already couldn't stand him, and yet, by some cruel twist of fate, the two of them were poisoned with a toxin that kept them from being apart.
After countless hardships, she finally climbed step by step to a high position in the Imperial Brocade Guards, only to discover that her transmigration seemed to have been arranged. Fate appeared to have played a huge joke on her. It turned out that, somewhere beyond mortal sight, everything had already been decided...
* The heroine grows over the course of the story. Though her circumstances are unusual, she is in a strange environment and era, so she cannot do everything perfectly. She will make mistakes, and she is not strong in every respect from the start. She has to go through many failures and dangers before she can succeed.
* I prefer characters who have both strengths and flaws. Whether good or evil, no one can be neatly defined as right or wrong, so the protagonists will have flaws, and their emotions and desires will affect their judgment. I believe this makes them more rounded and lifelike.
* Unless something unusual comes up, I'll update with around 3,000 words a day. Thank you all for your support.
Theme: Stay true to your original aspirations, and you will reach the end.
Boss, please update! [Hug thigh]
[Orange Candy] Got it! It's perfect! Well written!
There were zombies in ancient times, hahahaha
I was very immersed when I wrote this chapter. I truly entered the princess's perspective and felt the beginning of her tragedy. I was filled with emotions. There is nothing terrible about not being able to love, but being too obsessed with something is your punishment.
