Blurb: Sci-fi + Western setting + ABO
In the year 4371 of the Old Star Calendar, the Boye people traveled through a rift left behind by an alien species and arrived in the star systems ruled by humanity.
Thus began a war of annihilation, waged to plunder resources.
An invasion that caught humanity off guard, a civilization far more advanced than human technology, a shattered empire... What will become of humanity's future?
In the ABO world, lifespan is tied to mental strength. The average lifespan is three hundred years.
Ranks: SSS, SS, S, A, B, C, D, E
After their mental domains were damaged, Yi Si and Lu Wu awakened special mental domains: a shattered kingdom and a broken legion.
"Within my territory, I am king." But the citizens, soldiers, and ministers who should have been there had all vanished in the flames of war. Only the emperor remained in the shattered kingdom.
"My sword points where my heart wills." The once-whole legion had become a host of lingering souls. With their country destroyed and their families gone, where could they call home? Where could the soldiers go?
When their domains collide:
High upon the throne, Yi Si's eyes were half closed. A scepter and a sword stood at his side. On the other stood his general, his... knight.
Lu Wu's gaze rested on Yi Si upon the throne. Then he bowed respectfully. "My emperor, I will expand your domain and guard your borders."
Yi Si placed a hand on his shoulder. "I crown you. You will be invincible."
Their gazes met. The knight offered his people, loyalty, and faith to the king.
The king repaid the knight with territory, power, and freedom.
"...
They are the sword, the flame, the light that shines on humanity in the darkness. "
A History of Humanity's Heroes
All of the above is fictional, written by the author.
Note:
1. ABO species, both protagonists are Alphas.
2. Both protagonists die at the end.
3. The empire is rebuilt. This is not a tragic ending where the country is destroyed and everyone wanders forever.
4. I'm terrible at blurbs and don't know what to write, so this will do for now.
5. This may not be an especially grand, serious epic. The author's writing skills are limited.
6. Building a story around a romantic interest.
Theme: Sacrifice one's life for one's country
