[The Grave Robbers' Chronicles] A Snap of the Fingers

The Sengzhi Lu says: "One kshana is one thought; twenty thoughts make one instant; twenty instants make one snap of the fingers; twenty snaps make one luoyu; twenty luoyu make one short while; a day and a night comprise thirty short whiles."

A snap of the fingers contains four hundred kshanas, and it takes four hundred snaps of the fingers to make one short while. So a snap of the fingers is neither long nor short.

Two people passing each other, two people pledging their lives to one another, can all happen in the space of a snap of the fingers.
