[Lord of the Mysteries] Mr. Fool's Hungry Hound

Taotao, whose foreign name is Behemoth, is Taotie, one of the ancient ferocious beasts. To blend in with humans and sample their delicious food, he fought with all his might until his brain finally overcame his appetite, allowing him to barely restrain himself and transform into human form. Overjoyed and in tears, Taotao had no time to enjoy the offerings from human cultivators. He only dozed off for a moment, and when he opened his eyes again, he was in a completely unfamiliar world, waking up inside a dog's body.

The civilization of skyscrapers was gone. The starry sky was beautiful and filthy, and humans had brightly colored hair and eyes, wore strange clothes, and spoke strange languages.

Taotao had only just learned baby-level Chinese before he transmigrated. Now he couldn't understand a single word anyone said. Taotao: What the heck...

All he could do was control the stray dog's body and struggle to survive in this strange place. Don't get the wrong idea. It wasn't that he couldn't win a fight. It was the food here. Why was it so awful?! Having been spoiled by the tastes of a food-loving nation, Taotao swallowed the City of Silver's specialty dishes with tears in his eyes.

This was Klein Moretti's first attempt to summon a Spirit World Creature.

After a series of tense preparations, he finally summoned a friendly Spirit World Creature with great survival skills and a good turn of speed... But why did this creature look so familiar?

Klein stared in silence at the dog-shaped creature before him, with black-and-white fur, blue eyes, a wise expression, and a flame-shaped marking on its forehead. A husky?

Taotao, inexplicably summoned and inexplicably accepting the call, looked at the foreigner before him. "Arf, arf, I'm hungry, arf, arf?" Human, I'll deliver your messages. Just give me food.

Klein didn't understand a word and immediately wanted to blow out the candles and end the summoning.

Taotao pounced, wrapping his hungry dog's paws around Klein's leg. With no other choice, he used the other language he knew, Chinese, to plead: "Hungry! Give me food!!!!"

Clinging tightly to the human's leg, he noticed the man's movements stop. A moment later, a gentle male voice came from above him. "All right."

...In short, the hungry dog got a long-term meal ticket, and Klein found a reliable messenger. A happy ending for everyone.

Years later, faced with the enormous bills for the destruction and dog food, Klein Moretti would always think back to that afternoon when he summoned Behemoth to be his messenger.

A little skit.

"Welcome to 'The Husky Victims Alliance.' Our guest this episode is an ordinary passing Seer. Sir Seer, what do you think of your dog?"

Ordinary Passing Seer: "Thanks for the invitation. I just got back from the Sefirah Castle, so I'm personally involved. Sometimes, looking at the house my dog has wrecked and my wallet he's emptied, I really want to jump off a building with him in my arms... Behemoth, what are you eating?! NO! Spit it out! Spit it out!"

The camera shakes wildly. Tentacles reach out from beneath the Seer's robe and grab the thieving dog's scruff (the cameraman, reporter, and audience have all been blinded by the sight of him eating fish).

After a chaotic scuffle, the Seer, once again looking presentable, returns to the camera with his beloved dog in his arms. "Thank you, everyone. We've made up. He's very cute when he isn't wrecking the house or eating things he shouldn't."

I wanted to write a sweet little story (actually, a food story), so here it is. No logic, just my own headcanon. Updates every other day.

The protagonist is based on Taotie. His nickname is Taotao, and his grand foreign name is Behemoth. Pairing: Klein.

The protagonist is a husky, an illiterate, dim-witted dog with nothing but food on his mind. Don't expect too much brainpower from him.

Theme: Love and good food are both too precious to waste.
