Is this a dream or reality?
It doesn't matter anymore. At this moment, it is reality.
From birth, the protagonist Yi Yanqiu has been burdened with the destiny of the Fire Clan, yet he was left to live alone in Jincheng as a child. Living in Jincheng as a child made every step of his life difficult, leaving him with little ambition. Later, his future best friend Bai Yu brings him back to the Fire Clan, beginning a whole new journey and introducing him to another side of the world.
Among the Fire Clan, he receives a new education at the Five Elements Academy, a school established specifically for the other clans. There, he revisits the abilities his childhood master, Yi Chi, taught him. He also meets Shen Yujin, a future companion.
When the spirit of the contracted beast inside him becomes unstable, he returns to his master's home. After his master saves him, the two talk seriously about how Yi Yanqiu was abandoned as a child, and their misunderstanding is cleared up.
While at his master's home, Yi Yanqiu meets a visitor, Hermes. Polite and graceful, he will also prove a capable ally when they face the challenges ahead.
Later, they seek out the old site of the Fire Clan to find a long-lost altar. Is it all to lift the curse on the Five Clans?
Premise: Live in the face of death
