A directionally challenged novice junior sister × the least noticeable junior brother
There is a mountain in Cangwu Valley called Yinxiu, known to everyone beneath the heavens.
An immortal lives on the mountain, known as Fuyun. Fuyun has five disciples, four of whom are famous throughout the land. The first disciple can steady the realm with a single spear thrust. The second disciple hears the snow and purifies evil Buddhas. The third disciple wields a green blade to quell the night rain. The fourth disciple’s pale fan summons wind and calls down thunder.
In the seven days since Yue Ruoye came down the mountain, she has heard stories about these four everywhere she goes. People talk about them in teahouses and taverns, and even the storytellers at the roadside stands discuss them. They rave about the “Four Heroes of Yinxiu” and their astonishing talents, and four of the “Seven Great Deeds” belong to Yinxiu.
But no one mentions the fifth disciple.
That’s right, she’s the fifth one. She slacked off on the mountain and hunted in the wilds below. Her cultivation was mediocre, and she didn’t start working hard until she came of age. She couldn’t last three moves against her second senior brother. After telling the story of the Four Heroes, the storytellers couldn’t even be bothered to ask her name.
She had come down the mountain to build up merit by punishing evil and promoting good. She never expected to be dragged into a whirlpool of trouble.
Then she met someone even more obscure than she was.
Song Ming Wu Wen Tu, Jiang Qiw u. No one at his sect remembered he existed. He spent all day shut up in his room reading storybooks, and was even less noticeable than she was.
The two least conspicuous people accidentally decided to travel together, each carrying an important mission.
