When Qi Yu, heir to the Prince of Rong of the Daxing Empire, was born, auspicious signs appeared in the heavens. Everyone said he was destined for greatness. Yet eighteen years later, Qi Yu became a notorious wastrel and was demoted to a lowly county magistrate in Hexian, the southernmost county in the Daxing Empire. He cheerfully packed his bags and set off, only to find that murders kept happening in little Hexian. Qi Yu teamed up with Tang Zhi, an official coroner in name only, to solve a string of strange cases. In the end, Qi Yu got everything a man could want: a good reputation and a wife...
Qi Yu: What do I do? It was love at first sight. Thankfully, my wife is a sucker for good looks. Watch the heir win her over with his handsome face!
