Yan Ren, a world martial arts champion, never imagined that she would be sabotaged during a competition and die in the arena.
Still less did she expect that, after dying, she would somehow enter a new world.
What she least expected was that she would now be an incoming high school freshman. Yan Ren pinched the school emblem on the left side of her uniform and glanced at it. It read, "Cuiying High School, Yan Ren."
Well, there went twenty years of hard work. Now she had to start over, and first she had to prepare for the college entrance exams.
Later, Yan Ren realized this was no ordinary world. Schools were everywhere, and experts were gathered in every corner. High schools were no longer ordinary schools, and every exam combined academic theory with combat skills.
The college entrance exam was even more intense. It tested both the ability to integrate knowledge from every subject and the stamina to fight on while pushing the body beyond its limits.
Yan Ren looked calm on the outside.
In her head: "This is so insane! So thrilling!! I love it!!!"
Keeping your head down and studying won't cut it here. If knowledge is the battlefield, then you have to fight for real, with all the passion you've got!
She might not be able to become the top scholar in academics,
but... the top martial arts champion sounds pretty great too!
