Superman's Brother Is Losing It

Also known as: “Wearing a Secret Identity to Play a Supervillain When I’m Actually a Superman Superfan,” “Can You Bastards Let Go of My Little Brother?” and “Why Does Everyone in the World Have Two Identities?” After transmigrating to another world, Wellen’s life as the eldest son of the Kent family had been running smoothly: go to work, come home, talk about the world with his little brother, go to work, banter with his boss, come home, feed the stray cats, and complain about his boss to his little brother. But after coming back from the dead and getting bound to a System, Wellen felt that everything had changed. “What do you mean, you’re a villain System? You’d better bind me properly!” “Ahhhhh, what do you mean my little brother became a vigilante and they gave him the codename Superman? Is it the Superman I know?!” “I’m fighting Superman? Seriously?” To keep his family from burying their son, Wellen chose the most harmless of a series of antisocial missions: “Kryptonite Collector.” Crows cawed hoarsely in the night, perched on withered branches and singing of death. A dark figure stood silently atop a tower. The mask, its features impossible to make out, looked sinister and somber in the darkness. He raised a crystal glowing faintly green in the moonlight and admired it, his teasing drawl drifting through the night. “...How beautiful.” “Kryptonite Collector: Do you want to control the most powerful, most perfect creature on this planet? Do you want to experience the thrill of conquest and humiliation? Do you want to enjoy the bliss of controlling everything? If so, congratulations on choosing the perfect opening act! This will be the first step in your criminal career. I look forward to the day you reach the end.” Meanwhile, in the comic... “Whoa, a new character.” “Whoa, a new villain.” “Your boss is Luthor, bro... Ahhhh, Luthor, what have you been saying?!” “Sun-Eater, you hate Superman so much, but why do you keep saving him? This is so Metropolis supervillain: loving each other while fighting to the death (?).” “Bro, do you seriously not know Bruce and Batman are... You’re not even from Gotham, so why are you shipping Batman and Bruce? Ahhh, I’m laughing so hard I’m about to lose it...” And so Wellen worked during the day and stole things at night, tinkered with an antidote for Bruce in his spare time, then turned around and threw a few punches at the bad guys trying to elbow his little brother. He could just about manage to get by like this... as if! I can only sleep two hours a day! Ahhhhh! > A hundred percent family-focused.
