I wrote some of this book more than ten years ago, but it's been so long that I'm still sorting through the chapters. Please don't read it for now. I'm temporarily posting the old chapters to save them, so they aren't the final version and will be revised later.
[Content warning] This is an especially slow-paced story, not a power fantasy. Si Yin is the only main character who appears throughout the entire book; the other protagonists change.
A thousand-year-old fox clan, a hundred lifetimes of grudges.
The Thousand Springs, the ancestral land of the Quan clan of foxes, was accidentally unsealed, releasing Zhaoyuan, a demon imprisoned for a thousand years. The seal's removal also brought Youyue into the world, the eyes of the Quan clan's founding patriarch. The appearance of Youyue signals that this thousand-year-old fox clan is facing the threat of extinction.
As the new clan leader, Si Yin sees the whole picture. How will she save the Quan clan?
All the grudges will be revealed. Read the story of the Quan clan...
A thousand-year-old fox clan, a hundred lifetimes of grudges. The mortal world of the past is nothing but an illusion.
Core theme: Let go of the past and move forward bravely. Every misfortune will find its resolution.
