After their third consecutive championship at Teiko, the Generation of Miracles fell apart for good.
Just as they were preparing to go their separate ways, all six of them, along with Momoi, were sent to the world of volleyball. The System required them to win three national championships within three years, or everyone would be erased.
So the prodigies, who no longer wanted to pass the ball to one another, had no choice but to become teammates again in a sport that no one could win alone.
