Xu Zidu thought he would live out his life in quiet obscurity, but a routine checkup completely upended his world. Staring at his lung cancer diagnosis, he decided to go out and experience life in the time he had left.
But then Luo Zhibai appeared and disrupted everything. Like a ray of light, he opened Xu Zidu's heart and stirred it to life again. Xu Zidu had no idea that Luo Zhibai had fallen for him at first sight. What he thought were chance encounters were actually deliberate attempts to get close to him, and under Luo Zhibai's pursuit, he slowly gave him his heart.
But his body was failing day by day. He had hoped to spend his final days with the man he loved, sharing a quiet but happy life. He never expected disaster to strike so soon. A medical accident took him away forever.
Premise: Fate is too cruel. Cherish the present.
