[First Person]
I have someone I love. His name is Song Yunshu.
I followed him to the capital, where I had to live under someone else's roof and endure their bullying. But he treated me with cold indifference. When I was bullied, he scolded me for being shameless. When I went to him in tears, he told me to behave with dignity.
The only person he cared about was Li Zhen, the emperor's younger brother and the crown prince's full sibling.
Everyone liked Li Zhen. The people who insulted and bullied me acted like noble gentlemen whenever he was around.
Li Zhen was so proud of his noble birth that he always carried himself like an immortal. Even I was fooled the first time I saw him, thinking he was a celestial being.
He liked to play the good guy. Whenever someone bullied me, he would step in and comfort me.
But the more he comforted me, the angrier those people became. They called me a man-seducer and mocked me for having nothing but a pretty face, unworthy of Li Zhen.
Why was Li Zhen born as the bright moon in the heavens, while I was stuck in the mire?
How could Heaven be so unfair?
After someone played a trick on me and drugged me again, my whole body burned. Through tear-blurred eyes, I gazed at Li Zhen as he pitifully wiped away my tears.
He was going to find someone to get me an antidote.
"Don't... don't go..."
I breathed against his ear, took hold of his hand, and trembling, guided it beneath my clothes.
If I'm mired in mud, then come and save me.
[In dreams, delusions turn my thoughts upside down. Better to be a free soul beneath the moon.]
