A story about a sharp sword that can easily wound its wielder, and the scabbard willing to bear its weight.
[Heroine's Perspective]
Guangling was born into the powerful Qu clan of a spiritual land. With Yushan at her back, she made a name for herself at a young age.
No one cared about the blood and tears she had spilled at Lantai.
On an ordinary, unremarkable day, Guangling suddenly gazed into the silent wilderness and heard a cry.
She had no way to answer, just as she had no way to answer her senior brothers and sisters when they asked where she was going.
But she was certain it was time to set out.
[Hero's Perspective]
Hu Suishao was not born with that name.
He had been unlucky from birth. After years of struggling in the mire of the mortal world, he had still amounted to nothing. Then, one day, he vaguely felt that his fate had run its course. He lamented the absurdity of his life and wished only for a swift death. But just as the first light broke through the darkness, someone came flying on a sword and reached out to him.
She said, "This sword is called Suiling, its name carrying the meaning of enduring good fortune and a vast, radiant world."
She said, "Since you met me, your life was not meant to end here. And since your life was not meant to end here, Heaven's Dao wants you to live and fulfill your mission in this world."
He had no education and couldn't understand her.
But he knew this was his last chance, a chance to win the right to see the dawn break.
Theme: In an ordinary, mundane world, let go of attachments and find yourself again.
