Shen Wan was a low-level Qi Refining cultivator. Hunted by pursuers, she fled to the Dragon-Sealing Platform and, to save her own life, made a blood pact binding their fates with Yu Jin, an imprisoned ancient God of War.
Their destinies became inextricably entwined. She used her own blood to suppress the backlash from his seal, while he used his overwhelming presence to save her from certain death.
She risked everything to cut through his shackles, accidentally freeing him from a thousand years of imprisonment and incurring Heaven's punishment. The two were forced to flee to the mortal realm together.
The love and hatred of their past two lives, and the ordeals they endured, were like currents buried deep beneath the surface. Their memories had yet to awaken, but the conspiracy was already closing in around them.
The betrayal of former brothers and old grudges soaked in blood gradually came to light. Swept along by political schemes and fate, the two evaded Heaven's pursuit and fought against the lies of the past. They loved each other, yet pushed and pulled away, unable to escape the tragic fate already written for them.
Theme: Even if my divine nature is shattered and all my memories are gone, I will recognize your soul again in this vast Three Realms, and protect you so that you may live in peace year after year.
