Lying Turns You into a Kitten

Goofy top student bottom vs. aloof underachiever top

Liang Xu has recently noticed something strange.

Every night, after the lights go out, a cat mysteriously appears by his pillow.

Yuan Song has recently noticed something strange, too.

Every night, after the lights go out, he wakes from a dream and turns into a cat, landing by his roommate's pillow.

What's more, every time he wakes up, he has to look up at his roommate's icy face, only to be grabbed expressionlessly by the scruff and tossed out of the dorm.

The October night breeze is bitterly cold. After this happens several times, Yuan Song catches a fever and a cold, his nose running as he shivers all over.

Finally, he can't take it anymore. He strides up to Liang Xu and grabs him by the collar, anger and frustration in his eyes. His words tumble out, full of grievance: "Do you know that cat is me? Me! Are you trying to freeze me to death out there?!"

Liang Xu raises his eyes and impatiently pulls Yuan Song off him, looking at him like he's an idiot. "..."

Afterward, Yuan Song racks his brains and goes to extraordinary lengths to prove to Liang Xu that the cat really is him.

He thinks he can work with the only person in the know to carefully investigate how to solve this strange mystery. But Liang Xu secretly buys cat food, lickable cat treats, and canned cat food. To round out the total, he even adds a cat teaser wand?!!

Yuan Song tries to remind himself rationally that he isn't really a cat, but his instincts betray him, and he succumbs to Liang Xu's cat treats and merciless pampering.

He chews and chews, then can't help exclaiming: These cat treats are so damn delicious!!!!

Finally, one day, Yuan Song realizes that he seems to turn into a cat whenever he lies to Liang Xu.

So one day, he decides to test this rule himself.

He leans close to Liang Xu's ear and shouts, "Liang Xu, I like you! I like you so, so much! I like you more than anyone in the whole universe!"

The sound of a pen turning stops with a sharp snap, and Liang Xu's twirling hand abruptly stills.

After waiting a long time and still not turning into a cat, Yuan Song lets out a puzzled, "Huh? Has the magic stopped working?"
