An Lan is a villainous cannon-fodder character in a minor world. After an outstanding performance, he is hired ahead of schedule as an employee at a quick transmigration branch, where he goes to other minor worlds to play the villain. Successful missions earn him generous rewards.
World One: The sinister husband whose spouse died in a paranormal world
[Your honest husband died unexpectedly, and you, a sensitive person, often feel someone watching you. The long nights leave you feeling uneasy alone, so you turn your attention to the protagonist, who just moved in across the hall. You fail to seduce him and are humiliated instead. Malicious by nature, you decide to take revenge on the protagonist.]
An Lan: ...Are all villains in other minor worlds like this?
An Lan opens the wardrobe and finds it full of backless dresses. Fighting his embarrassment, he changes and knocks on the door next door. Before he can even see who is there, someone pulls him inside and covers his mouth.
It turns out the hallway was too dark, and An Lan knocked on the wrong door. Faint sobs drift out into the hallway.
The door next door quietly opens. A man with a grim expression takes out a piece of wire, ready to pick the lock...
World Two: The suspicious adopted son plotting to claim an inheritance in a remote village
[Your adoptive father found you, age five, outside the village, and he and his son raised you and put you through college. The day you leave home, your whole family suddenly cuts off contact. After much effort, you discover that the village is due to be demolished and your adoptive father has died suddenly. You suspect your adoptive brother doesn't want you to get a share of the money. Greedy for the inheritance, you conspire with your roommate to return to the village and claim it.]
The village has strange rules: outsiders with no ties to the village may not enter. An Lan and his roommate can only pretend to be a married couple.
On the first day back home, while his roommate is showering, his eccentric adoptive brother barges into An Lan's room. Only then does An Lan realize he was allowed into the village because he and his adoptive brother had been joined in a ghost marriage, and he has been nourished by yin energy every day...
World Three: The vain supernatural ability user who envies the protagonist in a post-apocalyptic world
[The protagonist saves you from zombies, but you show no gratitude. You envy the protagonist for having powerful abilities and being admired and followed by others.]
After a zombie bites An Lan, he hides in a corner and grits his teeth as he threatens the tall man who saw his injury, telling him not to expose it.
That night, An Lan's fever won't come down. The next day, he successfully develops an ability. It's just that his ability is rather unusual... He can briefly steal someone else's ability through intimate contact.
Holding hands grants an ability for 10 seconds; hugging grants one for 30 seconds; kissing grants one for 60 seconds; French kissing...
An Lan: "The time I can steal an ability for is way too short. Is there a more intimate way to do it?"
Before long, An Lan gets his wish and gains abilities for longer periods, including but not limited to invisibility, vine control, duplication, heightened senses, and enhanced physical strength...
Content warnings:
1. The bottom is stunningly beautiful and adored by everyone; he's gloomy and a little mean at first.
2. The top is one person split into multiple parts, with more than one part in each minor world. The top is completely inexperienced, absolutely!
3. Before the bottom arrives, everything in the minor worlds is just data and preset information. The original character is not replaced. (In short, the minor world only exists once he arrives.)
4. The minor worlds won't be written in order. I'll prioritize the ones I feel inspired to write.
