Reborn as a Blanket, I Tore Apart the Japanese Devils' Laboratory

Qin Zhaoyang, commander in the apocalypse, died in battle in the Qinling Mountains. When she opened her eyes, she had become an ancient Persian carpet in a Republican-era warlord's mansion. She still had all three of her supernatural abilities: strength, speed, and entering dreams. She just didn't have a body.

That night, when Japanese spies infiltrated the mansion to assassinate the warlord, Sheng Xingguo, a translucent arm emerged from the carpet and snapped an assassin's wrist in a second, forcing out the words "Changzhou Cotton Mill."

From then on, by day she was a carpet, listening in on the entire household. By night, she entered dreams to strategize over battles, tore apart Japanese bioweapons labs, and brought traitors and collaborators to justice.

Sheng Xingguo: "Half my life belongs to you."

Qin Zhaoyang: "I've returned to Jiangnan a century ago. Poison gas must not be unleashed, and the land must not be torn apart."

But an anonymous wanted poster was plastered all over the canal region: no name, no charges, just her face.
