The sky suddenly darkened, and an inexplicable thick fog rolled over the road, gray and murky, as if the gloomy nights of the Victorian era had returned.
Standing by the roadside, Huo Lang felt a chill run down his back, as though an eerie presence were clinging to him.
Just then, two dim yellow beams of light wavered closer through the mist. The shadow behind them was pitch-black, growing clearer as it approached. It was a taxi, its old headlights swaying. Much of its paint had peeled away. Some spots looked corroded by chemicals, others bore scratches like those from sharp nails, and elsewhere...
Huo Lang's vision blurred. A pitch-black car window was right in front of him.
The taxi stopped.
Huo Lang glanced down at his phone...
The license plate was right. It was the car he'd called.
So Huo Lang cautiously took two steps forward and bravely knocked on the window... Creak, creak-creak. With two sounds of grinding machinery, the window slid down. A pair of cool green eyes appeared, beautiful as cat's-eye gems.
The driver looked about his age, with delicate features touched by a hint of sharpness, pale skin, and a flawless face...
He casually tapped the steering wheel, seemingly without a care, then looked over with those cool green eyes.
Song Que lounged lazily in the driver's seat and raised an eyebrow. "Buddy, mind wiping up your drool?"
Huo Lang: Cough, cough, cough, cough.
Then Huo Lang broke into a hearty laugh and glanced at the window to make sure he still looked handsome. "My place is really close, man. Want to come upstairs later...?"
Song Que raised an eyebrow, sounding as casual as ever. "Sorry, but maybe you should think about... getting in the car first, then surviving the night?"
Cheerful, goofy, sunny-on-the-outside-and-dark-underneath dog-type gong x laid-back, lazy, unhinged-but-composed shou
Huo Lang x Song Que
Note:
1. The story is told primarily from the gong's point of view. He gets a livestream System, but only he can see the stream.
2. The setting is fictional. The author suddenly really wanted to write a goofy infinite-flow romance, so some details may not be entirely rigorous.
3. The gong and shou are about the same age. They're both young and a little goofy.
4. The author has no particular gong-or-shou preferences. It's simply told from the gong's perspective, meow. No preferences, no preferences, no preferences.
Theme: Take life seriously, and be happy every day.
