Long Aotian Resets the World's Rules Every Day

Chen Zhengliu is the protagonist of a mindless level-up novel, a Dragon Proud of Heaven who has just pulled off a small comeback in life. Then, for no apparent reason, he enters a secret realm to gain experience and ends up in another world.

The new world is rich in spiritual energy, and it is easier to find a master there. So he muddles his way into becoming a disciple. After spending ten years clinging to his aloof, ethereal master and living the good life, his master suddenly ascends. Fortunately, his master is a good person and sends him off with a new leg to cling to: a great beauty.

Then his good days come to an end. The beauty is gorgeous but mean-spirited, and can't stand him. He whips him like a donkey at the slightest excuse, works him over during the day and takes him from behind at night, and even spends all the spirit stones he's saved on all sorts of useless junk. Chen Zhengliu dares not complain, and can only obediently take on missions to earn spirit stones and support this strange fellow. Life is fairly peaceful, until this fussy troublemaker pulls out an object. Chen Zhengliu breaks down: his forgotten memories come flooding back, and that object is exactly like one his master had.

He also discovers that this world is a restricted danmei novel, and his dream of making a comeback seems to have to take a different path.
