[Easygoing, energetic chef x clingy, ghostly second prince who grows up at her side]
A young chef transmigrates to ancient times while saddled with an enormous debt. She only does three things there:
Earn money, repay her debts, and look after a kid.
Lin Que travels back and forth between the modern and ancient worlds through an ancestral screen, winning over Ying Wujue, a down-and-out second prince confined to the cold palace, with her cooking.
Lin Que accepts all of Ying Wujue's moods. Since nobody ever shows him any love, she brings books from the modern world to help him: "Twenty-Six Ways for Men to Master Cooking," "The Art of War," "You're Beautiful When You Know Martial Arts"...
With her unusual teaching methods, she turns Ying Wujue, who begins his studies at sixteen, into a peerless, triumphant hero who rises from an obscure prince in the cold palace to a crown prince renowned for both wisdom and courage.
Unfortunately, the child grows up all wrong and keeps trying to seduce Lin Que with his body. Whether Lin Que is genuinely clueless or just pretending, when Ying Wujue takes off his clothes, she tells him not to catch cold. When he takes her hand and asks her to feel it, she tells him he's all grown up... He's casting flirtatious looks at a blind woman.
Lin Que covers her eyes to block the view, screaming inwardly in despair: Once you're someone's big sister, do you have to be their wife for life, too?
--
Ying Wujue was born in the cold palace, an unloved prince.
Stray dog, worthless scum, bastard: those were the words people used to describe him. When starving, he stole. When beaten, he bit back. Ying Wujue never imagined a young chef would pull him out of that life.
He had always thought of her as a big sister. When he loved her, she was the moon in the sky, shining on him alone.
He had always known that Lin Que traveled back and forth between worlds. When he was little, he was powerless to keep her with him. Once he grew up, he still couldn't bring himself to mistreat her, so all he could do was pray night after night beneath the bright moon.
"Big Sister, stay..."
1. The female lead has an ordinary personality, but her cooking is extraordinarily good.
2. The male lead is raised by her. He starts out aloof and proud, then becomes a ghostly, lovestruck romantic.
3. It's sort of a food story.
