After He Abandoned Him.

Su Yue was Zhang Shengjiu's secretary for eight years, doing absolutely everything.

He even had to deliver supplies whenever Zhang Shengjiu went to bed with someone else.

Every time, he was made to wait outside.

Countless times, Su Yue stood outside the door, forced to hear the sounds within, Zhang Shengjiu's voice, and his sweet nothings to his lovers.

He numbly watched Zhang Shengjiu replace one lover with another, and whenever Zhang got tired of them, Su Yue would step in and send them away.

Until one day, Su Yue left something behind at a party and went back to retrieve it.

As he approached the half-open door, he heard someone inside mention him

"Young Master Zhang, Secretary Su has been in love with you for so many years, and you've kept him waiting all this time. Tsk... you're really heartless."

At that moment, Su Yue went cold all over.

He had always thought he'd hidden his feelings well, but it turned out Zhang Shengjiu had known all along.

Inside, Zhang Shengjiu's lazy voice rang out. "Secretary Su is good in every way. He's just too clueless about romance. Boring."

Su Yue quit.

It took Zhang Shengjiu a long time to get used to life without Su Yue by his side.

He thought that as long as he stopped fooling around with other people, Su Yue would come back obediently. After all, Su Yue liked him so much.

He thought Su Yue would still be waiting right where he was for Zhang to come around, just as he had for those eight years.

But when Zhang Shengjiu eagerly went to find Su Yue, all he saw was his gravestone.

Su Yue's black-and-white photo on the stone showed him smiling faintly at Zhang, just like he used to.

Su Yue... was dead.

At that moment, Zhang Shengjiu fell to his knees, his eyes bloodshot with pain, wishing he could tear out his own heart.

Tear it out and put it inside Su Yue's body, so Su Yue could come back to life. Wouldn't he? Wouldn't he?
