The blurb may change before the story begins, but the central premise won't. I'll post it like this for now.
[Quirky herb-gathering girl x aloof, scheming young lord]
Yun Yao is an orphan who makes her living gathering herbs.
One day, while gathering herbs in the mountains, she takes shelter from the rain and finds a handsome young man who is gravely injured and on the verge of death, along with a big yellow dog. She brings them home.
The young man is handsome, but blind. He's bad-tempered and doesn't talk much.
She cares for him day after day. At last, his eyes heal, and when she tries to send him on his way, he says he can't remember his name or where he lives.
An idea strikes Yun Yao. She tests the waters:
"I've just come of age, I'm pretty, and I can earn money. Since you have nowhere to go, why not marry into my family? I'll support you."
*
The two live quite happily after getting married. Her husband may look slender, but he's certainly capable. As for exactly what he's capable of...
Yun Yao, glistening with sweat, lies bent over the bedding, panting. The man's hot breath falls against her neck, and his voice is husky with desire as he whispers in her ear:
"Yao Yao, I want you to be my wife and the lady of the manor..."
What did he say about it being a raw deal?
She mumbles and drifts off to sleep:
"It's not a raw deal... Let's go to bed. We have to get up early to feed the pigs tomorrow..."

When the Prince of Sui rebels, Xiao Yanzhi escapes the capital under the desperate protection of his secret guards and flees south.
When he opens his eyes again, everything is dark. He manages to survive for a while on food his loyal dog somehow finds, but his wounds become infected and fester. Before long, a raging fever leaves him delirious.
He thinks he's going to die.
But when he opens his eyes again, he hears a girl's worried voice by his ear:
"Young master, you're finally awake!"
After staying there for a while, he learns that an herb-gathering girl saved him and that he is in a remote village in Yunmeng.
But just as his sight recovers, the young woman is already eager to send him away. He still has no idea what is happening in the capital and has nowhere else to go, so he lies and says he has lost his memory.
The young woman props her chin in her hand and says with a sly smile, "Why not marry into my family? I'll support you."
As if possessed, he agrees.

The herb-gathering girl has bright, lovely eyes and fair, beautiful skin. She is very much to Xiao Yanzhi's taste. Perhaps because she's still young, though, she's especially delicate in bed, and he has to coax her constantly.
After making her cry again, he is full of tenderness. Seeing the bruises on his wife's snowy-white shoulder, he can no longer suppress the surging feelings within him and kisses the side of her neck:
"Yao Yao, I want you to be my wife and the lady of the manor."

Xiao Yanzhi can't understand how a woman can be so heartless.
She clearly agreed to be his wife and the lady of the manor, but not long after he brought her to the prince's estate, his future bride actually ran away!
The whole city knows that Xiao Yanzhi has been dumped!
For the first time, the usually aloof and proud young lord trembles with rage in front of others. He grits his teeth and snarls:
"Yun Yao! When I find you, I'll tear you limb from limb!!!!"
