Rekindled romance + groveling-to-win-back-the-beloved arc
[Synopsis]
1.
Zhu Tao’s “pastoral life”
After five years in a relationship that showed no sign of a future, Zhu Tao was completely drained. She chose to break up, disappear without a trace, and return to her hometown.
She took over the peach orchard her grandfather had left behind, along with a homestay she had always dreamed of running.
But reality hit hard. Business at the homestay was dismal, though the peach orchard continued to thrive under her care.
By chance, she discovered that her grandmother’s homemade peach wine was popular. She came up with an idea: produce it on a large scale, prove her worth, and contribute to the development of rural tourism at the same time.

On the day they met again, the man leaned against the doorframe and drawled in a casually teasing tone, “Long time... no see?”
After a pause, he chuckled. “Oh, wait. It’s only been a year.”
The heroine barely spared him a glance and calmly nodded. “That’s right. Only a year.”
Only three short months.
The man who had always been arrogant, haughty, and sharp-tongued was now leaning against her shoulder, crying in wounded dismay. His voice trembled, full of pleading and hurt:
“Why... does everyone leave me? How can you be so heartless and abandon me?”
