Tess x Julien, a story of two little bitter souls saving each other.
Tess is a beautiful, innocent English country girl who lives a short and tragic life.
She can still feel the suffocating sensation of a noose around her neck. When she opens her eyes again, Tess discovers she has gone back several years, to a time before any of the tragedies occurred.
Alec, the wealthy young man, has not yet taken her virtue, and she has not yet become a disgraced sinner after giving birth to a child who dies in infancy;
she has not yet gone to work at a dairy farm to make ends meet, fallen in love with the pastor's son Angel, and been heartlessly abandoned by him after confessing her past;
she has not yet become Alec's mistress again out of desperation, ultimately falling into an abyss of despair.
And she has not yet been hanged in the darkness before dawn.
Of course, reborn Tess will not repeat her past mistakes.
She will personally kill Alec again, the man still obsessively infatuated with her and willing to do anything to possess her.
She will no longer expect anything from Angel, much less feel any love for him.
She will take the D'Urberville name, inherit the estate and fortune, and take control of her own life from then on.
During her revenge, a young man Tess never encountered in her previous life comes looking for her.
His name is Julien.
Julien seems to think Tess is as innocent and easy to fool as she appears, and wants to use her to win fame and fortune.
But Tess, who has been deceived before, can see the look of a liar. Pretending to be a victim, she uses Julien and turns him into her puppet.
Later, through epidemics, uprisings, and wars, they endure all kinds of hardships together. Tess has already had her revenge, and Julien has gained everything he wanted.
Their relationship should have ended there, but Julien chooses not to betray her. Instead, he obediently returns to Tess's side.
This takes Tess by surprise, even though she holds evidence that could send Julien to the guillotine at any moment. She finds she cannot refuse him either.
They use each other and yet offer each other warmth. They hide the proof of each other's capital crimes, right up until they grow old.
The premise is that Tess is reborn, and the original novels are her past life. The character inspirations come from Thomas Hardy's Tess of the d'Urbervilles and Stendhal's The Red and the Black. The characters may be out of character.
You don't need to have read the originals. The plot is quite simple, and the blurb and story will explain the details as clearly as possible.
CC and happy ending. Enjoy reading :)
Theme: She does not believe in an unchangeable fate.
Please continue, I love this!
