The president of the Yan Group has recently experienced something bizarre: the little jasmine plant his father raised for him can talk.
As a flower, it wants to try human food.
"Yan Xiaozhu, what's this red thing? Is it tasty?"
"Yan Xiaozhu, what's this green thing? I want to try it too."
Perhaps its craving was simply too strong. The Yan Group president experienced something even stranger: one morning, he woke up to find a boy sleeping in his bed, claiming to be the little jasmine.
After that, the little jasmine became even more demanding.
"Yan Xiaozhu, I want chips, fried chicken, spicy strips, steak, cake, cola, and milk tea..."
The little jasmine was clever. When Yan Xiaozhu didn't respond, it started playing the pity card. "It took me so much effort to become human. I've never seen or eaten any of these things before. Boo-hoo-hoo."
The Yan Group president closed his eyes and, helplessly, ordered every item for him.
As a father's protective feelings gradually turned into possessiveness and love, Yan Xiaozhu accepted his feelings and promised to give the little jasmine an even better life experience.
And so, their footsteps could be found in the snowy mountains, on the grasslands, and elsewhere.
On the vast grassland,
"What if I become a botanist one day and travel all over the world? What will you do?"
Yan Xiaozhu took his hand. "You can follow your own path. I will always follow you and protect you."
In the distance, an eagle soared as the grass rippled in the wind. The little jasmine blinked, memorizing that promise of forever.
