The man's face contorted with pain. He struggled to look back. "Fuck, who are you?"
Xie Yudu didn't let go.
Eyes lowered, he tightened his grip and answered,
"Her husband."
Yu Ci thought Xie Yudu was a really strange person.
Not only had he inexplicably treated her well from the moment they first met, but whenever the two of them were alone at school, he was always pressuring her to say she liked him.
She was shy, and at first she refused no matter what.
Xie Yudu didn't push. Knowing exactly how to get a rise out of her, he deliberately held his notebook up high. Yu Ci rose onto her tiptoes, so angry that even her ears turned red, and gestured with her hands.

"I don't know."

Yu Ci puffed out her cheeks and tried to walk past him.
Xie Yudu hooked a finger through her backpack strap and gently tugged her back. Then he leaned down and kissed her cheek. "Mm, so say it again."
