After an unexpected turn of events brought Shi Xi into a game called Conquer the Supernatural World, she discovered that all the mutated creatures that had vanished from the real world overnight had reappeared in the game, and had even evolved!
Red-eyed, man-eating rats could now coordinate their attacks. Violent rabbits the size of grown men had learned to box. And giant mantises with laser eyes could even fly!
And new species kept appearing!
A puppet that could resurrect again and again, vines covered in human hands, giants that ate human eyes, enormous mecha that loved eating robots…
Seeing them pop up randomly in different dungeons was a real eye-opener for Shi Xi.
But these mutated creatures were just the appetizer. The real challenge was each dungeon’s final boss.
Dungeon One: Find and kill a squirrel in a rotating castle to clear the dungeon.
At the time, Shi Xi had no idea the so-called squirrel was a gigantic “King Kong” squirrel covered in long spikes.
On top of having an indestructible body, it could shoot its spikes in any direction!
Dungeon Two: Find the so-called bride in a village where no one gets married and fulfill her wish.
When Shi Xi finally tracked down the “bride,” she hadn’t even found out what she wanted before discovering that the bride could grant people “immortality.”
The price of immortality was giving up who you were.
Nearly made “immortal” herself, Shi Xi flew into a rage, blew up the dungeon, and cleared it in style.
Dungeon Three: Unknown.
Shi Xi’s unconventional way of clearing the second dungeon drew the attention of a mysterious figure in the game world.
They came to invite her in earnest to become a dungeon beta tester.
Beta testers entered areas about to be turned into dungeons to test how dangerous they were.
Those who made it out could leave the game world immediately.
Shi Xi looked at the invitation card and narrowed her eyes.
Not long ago, she’d just remembered that this was her second time entering the game world.
The first time, she hadn’t joined a new dungeon area. Instead, she’d carved out a path for herself.
The only catch was that it came with a hefty risk: she’d lose her memory.
So Shi Xi accepted the invitation and then… became a dungeon director.
PS: 1. There is a male lead, the heroine’s archenemy. However, the heroine has amnesia early on and doesn’t remember him.
